Hotwalls Studios

Hotwalls Studios aims to provide a supportive community in which artists, creatives and makers can develop and grow their businesses.
The studio spaces are located in unique and important heritage buildings – known collectively as Point Battery – where thirteen studios were created for new and developing artist and maker businesses, where visitors can watch the artists at work.

Our studios are ready to occupy including:

• Heating, lighting and power points
• Broadband, Wi-Fi and landline telephone
• sinks with hot and cold running water
• a small fitted ‘desk’ /storage area against one wall
• One free use of The Round Tower for a creative event linked to your practice/business
• Business Support

Hotwalls Studios can be used between 7am to 11pm, seven days a week. We would expect the studio to be occupied for a minimum of 30 hours each week throughout the year. Studio tenants also have the benefit of an exciting and developing events programme on-site to support footfall to the studios including Open Studios every third Sunday of each month, markets, theatre performances and more.
