Portsmouth Historic Dockyard wins double at top industry awards

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard has won Partnership of the Year and Best Use of Digital at the prestigious Museums + Heritage Awards 2024.

The Museums + Heritage Awards celebrates the very best in the world of museums, galleries, and cultural and heritage visitor attractions.  The award for Partnership of the Year underscores the collaborative and innovative business model that sees Portsmouth Historic Dockyard jointly operated by The National Museum of the Royal Navy and the Mary Rose Trust. This partnership has delivered significant market growth, operational efficiency, meaningful social impact, and improved customer service.

In addition the Mary Rose win for Best Use of Digital highlights its forward-thinking approach to using technology in the presentation of maritime history through its “Dive the Mary Rose 4D” immersive 4D cinema experience.
