A new street eatery has launched in Portsmouth’s city centre. Nosh Box located opposite Portsmouth and Southsea railway station is a new pop up serving fantastic brunch burgers, loaded hash browns and freshly squeezed juices.
Owners Gary and John have been on the food scene in Portsmouth and Southsea for a number of years. Since 2019 they have run Nosh Box as a street food business operating around the South Coast festival scene. But now they have a permanent home for their business to grow.
Gary Moreton said
“We love being in the heart of the city. One of our main aims is to be at the heart of the regeneration of this historic city, serving great food in an amazing atmosphere. It’s an amazing feeling to finally be open.”
During the pandemic, Nosh Box transformed into a food delivery business, getting food boxes to people in need around Portsmouth.
Over Christmas, Nosh Box will be offering hog roast and aim to serve up Portsmouth’s best hot chocolate. Open daily from 7:30am till 3pm they are also planning pop up evenings.
